This screen is intended to allow the ability to map the fields from the external database to the Contact table in Oracle Marketing Cloud (ie. Eloqua).
- If there is a need to run the External Contact Sync element on a recurring basis, configure the Frequency Settings option. Provide a number value for the appropriate interval in the drop down (Minutes, Hours, Days and Weeks). NOTE: The Campaign or Program must be activated for the frequency setting to be enabled. Also, if the same contact is found in the filtered data from the external data source, the contact record will be updated in Oracle Marketing Cloud (ie. Eloqua).
- Check Batch Load option only if there is a need to have all the data from the external data loaded into the Oracle Marketing Cloud (ie. Eloqua) staging area first and then sync with the internal contact table. Users can leave the option unchecked for normal operations.
- Select the fields associated to the tables selected that you intent to import into Oracle Marketing Cloud (ie. Eloqua).
